Second grade is off to a great start at StJB! ❤️📚

In Mrs. Tjepkes’ classroom, students are already learning, laughing, and building relationships with one another. Through hands-on classroom interaction and plenty of opportunities to create fun memories together, our second graders are growing academically, personally, and spiritually.

This is an especially meaningful year as they prepare for two important milestones in their Catholic faith: First Penance and First Holy Communion. ✝️

At StJB, faith isn’t simply something our students learn about. It’s woven into their everyday experiences as we help prepare them for a lifelong relationship with Christ.

We can’t wait to see all that our second graders learn and experience this year! ❤️

Starting Our School Year Where It Matters Most. ❤️🙏

Our Cardinals began the new school year gathered together for Mass, placing the year ahead in God’s hands and celebrating the faith that unites our school community.

At St. John the Baptist Catholic School, faith isn’t simply something our students learn about. It is lived each day. Through prayer, Mass, the sacraments and everyday moments in the classroom, our students are growing academically while being formed as disciples of Christ.

To our current families, thank you for choosing Catholic education and allowing us to share in your child’s formation.

The first-day drop-off. ❤️

A few extra-long hugs, a few teary eyes, and a whole lot of wondering, “How did they grow up this fast?” 🥹

Yesterday, our hallways were full again as we welcomed our Cardinals back for a brand-new school year. From our littlest learners taking some of their very first steps into school to our oldest students beginning another year of growth and leadership.

To our parents: we know dropping them off can be bittersweet. Thank you for trusting StJB to be part of their story. We are honored to walk alongside your family as your children grow in knowledge, friendship, virtue, and faith.

There’s something special about seeing our entire St. John the Baptist Catholic School family together! From our youngest Cardinals to our eighth graders, each student is known, loved and formed in mind, heart and soul.
