CV-TEC Adult Literacy And Job Skills Training Free education and training opportunities for adult students. The CV-TEC Literacy, HSE and Job Skills Training Program has 2 major focuses.

We work with adult students who did not graduate from high school and assist them in achieving their High School Equivalency by passing the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC). We also provide training opportunities for adults with or without a High School Diploma. We have funding for C N A, Welding, AIME Manufacturing, and other trainings.

Congratulations to Katie LaBonte, our Adult Literacy Coordinator for CV-TEC at OneWorkSource. Katie has been selected as the Coalition of Adult Basic Education's (COABE) State Advocate for Adult Education Fellowship (SAAEF) Fellow, representing New York State. This fellowship is a yearlong, hands-on advocacy training program where Katie will have the opportunity to collaborate with other state fellows, continue to hone her advocacy skills, and champion the cause of Adult Education Programs with policymakers across New York State.
