It is that time of year! We are looking for some fall assistant teachers to join our awesome team! We are currently hiring for a full-time infant assistant teacher as well as two part-time floating assistants. If you know of someone looking to get into the early childhood field this is a great place to start! We offer scholarship opportunities to advance and flexible schedules for students!

Our summer camp has been having so much fun! Thank you to all of the businesses in the community who have chosen to give their time to help our kids learn, grow, and have a great summer!

We thought we would share how one act of kindness turned into a meaningful lesson in community kindness and giving for our kids! Thank you to the Wellsandt family for donating vases at the beginning of the summer and to Ellen with Sweet Violet Boutique for her time and patience with this workshop. The kids were able to learn what flowers need to survive and all about being a florist; carefully carrying and filling the vases with water, learning about the importance of safety and listening with the flower shears, arrange and trim flower pieces, pick out their favorite bow colors, and deliver their joyful handmade gifts by wagon to residents - leaving smiles for both our kids and them!

We also have limited spots available for drop in days. If your current sitter will be on vacation or you are looking to break up your child's week with gym time, play time, and lots of field trips feel free to stop in and prepay to secure your drop in days!

We are finishing off our Week of the Young Child celebration with this years take home kit! Feel free to grab your items and create a fun plaque at home with your family and display it proudly! With the afternoon storms, feel free to wait until next week to grab your items; the table will be up all next week to grab your kits, more decorations, or return unused items. We can't wait to see what your family creates!

Today we kicked off our Week of the Young Child with MUSIC MONDAY! Thank you Deb Custer with Music Together for coming in this morning. Music Together uses research based curriculum and is the perfect approach to early childhood music development.

*Deb will be back this summer to teach us all about music at our summer camp! If you have not yet enrolled, we still have spots remaining and are continuing to add to our list of summer fun!
