Today is the first day of a brand new adventure at Harper Haus, and I’m so excited to get started!

A special shoutout to all of my students auditioning for their school musicals this week. Be confident, trust the work you’ve put in, break a leg, and above all, HAVE FUN!

I can’t wait to see everyone in lessons this week as we kick off the semester with vocal and acting assessments, explore our new student coaching binders, and settle into our new home.

Cheers to a new chapter, a new school year, and my 18th year of teaching. Here we go!

Harper Haus has officially moved!

I’m so excited to begin this next chapter inside my church, Hope Church, conveniently located off 152 & Green Hills Road, about 10 minutes south of Platte City.

A new school year, a new space, and a full roster! I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing students and families who continue to make Harper Haus such a special place, and I can’t wait to see what this year brings.

WCT is accepting Director proposals and other production team interest for their show next summer!

Weston Community Theatre is accepting applications for creative positions for our 2027 Summer Musical “Seussical”!

Auditions: Mid/Late May
Performances: July 9, 10, & 11 (two shows on the 10th)

To apply please send an email to [email protected] with what position you are interested in being considered for, along a with a resume. If you are applying to direct, please submit a proposal with your vision of the show as well.

For consideration, please apply by Sunday, September 20, 2027.

We will schedule interviews for the evening of Sunday, September 27, 2026
