Now ENROLLING ages 3-103!

She spent most of her first class holding Mom’s hand.

She watched as we invited her onto the floor.

“Nope. Not yet.”

So we didn’t push her.

Eventually, she tried one little thing and then another.

A few weeks later, that same little girl was walking onto the floor all by herself, excited and ready for class.

I LOVE watching that happen. ❤️

Because at 4, 5, and 6 years old, karate is about so much more than kicks and punches. Children are learning to listen, wait their turn, control their bodies, try something difficult, and discover:

“Hey, I can do this!”

And yes, some children skip the holding Mom’s hand stage and come flying onto the floor ready to conquer the world. 😂 We love those kids, too.

Every child begins differently. Our job is to meet them where they are and help them grow from there.

For the first time in over a decade, we kept our doors open for Labor Day weekend Saturday classes and honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect.

Our students answered that question quickly: the classes were full!

Seventeen advanced students came together for 3½ hours of Black Belt and CDB training taught by Grandmaster Valentin. Their energy, commitment, and willingness to keep learning were incredible. Meanwhile, 21 Gups were on the other side of the school taking their regular classes.

No holiday excuses, just hard work, great attitudes, and students leveling up!

Miss Abby got the news that she PASSED her black belt test! Congratulations!

Tonight, these three ladies found out that they passed their black belt test! Miss Sarah passed her 1st degree black belt test and Miss Lara and Miss Alicia passed their 2nd degree test! Its a lot of hard work that has paid off!
