As always, we prioritize the safety of our students and staff by following the directives of Broward County Public Schools (BCPS). In light of Hurricane Helene, BCPS has announced the closure of schools tomorrow, September 26. Consequently, Sawgrass Adventist School will also be closed.

2 Samuel 18:32&33 The king asked the Cush*te, “Is the young man Absalom safe?”
The Cush*te replied, “May the enemies of my lord the king and all who rise up to harm you be like that young man.”
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept. As he went, he said: “O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom! If only I had died instead of you—O Absalom, my son, my son! .... a hard lesson ..... as a parent strive to live a life that will lead your children to God ..... if they don't choose Him you will have less to regret ....... Be strong in Christ one day at a time ...... Never give up, never give in. 🤨🧐😕
2 Samuel 13:21 When King David heard all this, he was furious. And Absalom never said a word to Amnon, either good or bad; he hated Amnon because he had disgraced his sister Tamar.......NEVER give up the high ground as a parent.......when you do your family pays the price.....be an example of faithfulness or dysfunction will follow.......SCARY......Never give up, never give in. 🤐😲😢
2 Samuel 12:9&10 Why did you despise the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. 1 Samuel 11:14&15 In the morning David wrote a letter to Joab and sent it with Uriah. In it he wrote, “Put Uriah out in front where the fighting is fiercest. Then withdraw from him so he will be struck down and die.”....... David's betrayal of Uriah was diabolical......to murder such a valiant warrior to steal his wife was evil.......but God forgave him......confess your sin today and be forgiven.......Never give up, never give in.... 🥹 😢😳
2 Samuel 9:7 “Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table.”......
