Why is the census important? The census population count determines how many representatives each state will have in Congress for the next 10 years and how much federal funding communities will receive for roads, schools, housing and social programs. This impact our school's funding. Please complete your census if you have not done so. Thank You.
Plantation Elementary is a MANDATORY UNIFORM SCHOOL. As you shop for your child’s school clothes, please select from the following: • Bottoms: black, blue, or khaki; pants, shorts, skirts, or skorts. • Tops: collared polo shirts in red, white, navy blue, sky blue. • Shoes: closed toe. • Shopping Locations: parents’ choice. There is no specific store and no sewn-on logo. You may shop at Walmart, Target, Penny’s, Sears, TJMaxx, or any other location. Plantation Elementary has shown significant improvement in Reading over the past three years. As a result we are no longer on the state’s lowest 300 list and are not required to have an extended day. Our new school hours for 2019-2020 is 8:00 am- 2:00pm.

Parents, teachers and students
You can treat your child, grandchild or friends to a special candy gram delivered to their classroom on February 14 2017. Cost is only $1.00 per candy gram. Cash only! You may send your money and greetings to the office in an envelope beginning Wednesday February 1st through Wednesday February 8th. Please be sure to write first and last name and the teachers name/grade. You can request additional grams from the school's office.

Good evening everyone. Thanks for coming out and helping us put together an amazing show. We make this school a great place to be not only for our children but for the entire family. This was our first event that we were really able to make a difference. We rocked this school and for every event we will make it better. Great Job everyone let's keep up the good work.
