Students shared that their favorite parts of school include track, playground time, field day, and special activities like Fun Friday. One student explained, “We love Fun Friday because we get to play fun games if we finish our work.” Moments like these encourage students to stay engaged, take pride in their learning, and enjoy time with friends.

Thank you to Ms. Marsh and other staff for organizing this week's Volunteer Breakfast, featuring student performances and delicious food. We presented about 60 awards and celebrated top volunteers Jill Siegel (534 hours) and Theresa Bromfield (435 hours). Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our school—thank you all!

DHH Family Night: Seminole Middle School invites Deaf and Hard of Hearing families to our DHH Parent Night on Thursday, April 30th at 6:00 p.m. This event is for families with students transitioning from elementary feeder schools. Meet our staff, learn about our DHH supports, services, and opportunities, and hear student experiences about transitioning to middle school. We look forward to seeing you!

Camp will run from June 8th through July 31st, and we are looking forward to a fun filled summer!

• One camp shirt is included with your paid registration fee and will be distributed during the first days of camp.

• Please note that the shirt color has changed from last year.

Take Your Child to Work Day- April 23, 2026. This national campaign offers parents, guardians, and other adults the chance to present their workplaces to students in grades 2 through 12. Participants can outline their job responsibilities, introduce colleagues, and highlight the range of career opportunities available within their organizations. For additional information, please refer to the attached form.

Reading Across Broward for the 2025-2026 school year ended on March 31. Participating students may turn their Reading Across Broward form to their teacher by April 10. We will recognize students participating in May.
