I help them to fill the gaps that make learning tedious and create building blocks that will allow them to find joy in what they learn in all subjects. I was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in South Florida. For as long as I can remember I had a passion for teaching others, and giving the gift of knowledge. As a child, I would play "teacher" and have my siblings pretend to be the students as
I taught them the alphabet and how to count. The love for teaching others continues to burn within me today. However, I want others to experience the same joy in learning that I do. I started my career in education in 2011. As I entered the field and came in close contact with struggling readers, I found that their excitement for learning would dim. Reading is a fundamental building block that transcends into all other subject areas. It is my belief that anyone given the proper tools and the right guidance can learn and thoroughly enjoy it! My experience and knowledge gained through the real-world practices learned in the classroom from the public school system, as well as my academic experiences in other private learning settings have familiarized and equipped me to teach students to their potential. I enjoy creating learning environments that allow opportunities for learners of varying abilities to thrive. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a master’s degree in Elementary Education. My aim is to help students of all aptitudes to find their joy in education so that they may have a successful educational career, as well as master the love of learning!
