These are all seedlings of Rby. Copper Queen.
Rby. Copper Queen is (Rlc. Toshie Aoki × Bc. Richard Mueller). The diversity in a batch of seedlings is exciting. None are exactly alike, and most show a spectrum of their parents. I do have blooming size plants (should bloom within a year) available for $15 + postage. I'll do 3 plants for $30 + shipping. All unbloomed - the surprise is yours!

Blc. Nora D**e 'Odom's Night Star'

One of my favorite deep purples - in the same class as Norman's Bay. The photo does the color no justice! If it only had the size of Norman's Bay! GREAT Fall Bloomer. MAYBE a division in 2022?!?

So, sometimes someone asks for an orchid to be virus tested that I'm selling. A lot of times I already test them before offering them for sale. This Cattleya Fabia 'Lucky #5' out of the Carter and Holmes breeding stock was not tested before listing. One reason is I was out of test kits and had them ordered, but they didn't arrive soon enough. I am blessed to be around some GREAT orchid people. I was able to get a test kit from one of them, and testing the orchid in front of many people, I can deem this fabulous C. Fabia CyMV and ORSV VIRUS NEGATIVE! The photos tell some of the story. I nipped the tip of one leaf, and macerated the tissue in the reagent solution. Put the test strip in, and you can see the results. It is a listed orchid on EBay, and I regret not being able to edit the written description, though I added the test photos to the listing. If you know anyone looking for a Fabia, tell them to BID EARLY AND OFTEN! I think there might be some entertainment as this auction closes because this plant is quite rare, and is a proven breeder! The cross was made originally in 1894 in the Victorian Age of Orchids. This is a remake of the cross, but I don't know the age of the plant - I've had it many years. Check out these July blooms from the greenhouse. Procatavola Key Lime Stars is the stars-shaped yellow. Blc. Walden's Glen (C. bicolor x Rlc. Oconee 'Mendenhall' AM/AOS) is the mauve. Rlc. Clinton 'Pastel' is a clone out of Carter and Holmes. Finally the red Bromecanthe Garnet Glory 'Juno Beach' HCC/AOS. There are a few Walden's Glen, Procatavola Key Lime Stars, and Clinton 'Pastel' plants available. The Walden's Glen and Key Lime Stars are seedlings, and will have some variation.

C. Bob Betts 'White Lightning'. One of the best whites ever bred! Very nice plant! Plant is currently in bud in a 5" industry standard pot. I have several of these in bud now and the plant in the photos is an EXAMPLE of plants for sale.
