✨ Competition Results Are In! ✨
Our Level One teams competed this past Thursday, and they absolutely shined.
🥇 Baking & Pastry:
• Leslie & Shyla – Gold
• De’Asia & Ja’Breall – Gold
🥈 Culinary:
• Liam & Miracle – Silver
These students represented Marshall with excellence from start to finish. De’Asia and Ja’Breall faced a huge setback when their pastries fell, but the way they regrouped and pushed through truly impressed the judges and the chef. That kind of character can’t be taught—it’s who they are.
Every single one of our kids showed up with heart. They were helpful, respectful, responsible, and safe—supporting not just each other, but students from other schools as well.
I couldn’t be more proud of them. 💛🔥

🌟 Teamwork makes the table work! 🌟Last night’s Parent-Teacher Conference was extra special thanks to a delicious dinner served in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.
🍽️ Our menu featured baked chicken, yellow rice, and black beans—comfort food with heart and heritage.
💛 Huge thanks to our amazing PTA for providing the food, Miss Ty for preparing it with love, the Sunshine Committee for the sweet desserts, and our FCCLA students for serving with a smile!
It was a beautiful example of collaboration and care. Our teachers felt appreciated, and our students got to shine. ¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana! 🎉

✨ First FCCLA meeting of the year = a total success! ✨
We kicked things off during Club Day with laughter, games, and great energy from our students and officers.
📸 Check out the pics from our day!
One of the highlights was a game inspired by a Mexican tradition where dancers balance drinks on their heads and dance to a song without it falling. We put our own spin on it—students walked with cups balanced on their heads, and the last one standing (or balancing!) was the winner. Simple, silly, and so much fun!
🎯 We also played FCCLA Bingo as part of Hello Week! To mark a spot, students had to introduce themselves to someone new and get their name written down on one of the bingo spots. It was a great way to break the ice and build connections.
I wish I had taken videos—next time for sure! Huge shoutout to our officers for leading with enthusiasm and making it all run smoothly. 💪❤️

🌟 District 6 Meeting Recap! 🌟
We had an amazing time at our FCCLA District 6 meeting on Wednesday, November 13 at The Regent in Riverview, FL! 🎉
With 35 enthusiastic students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in attendance, we made a significant impact by donating 18 boxes of facial tissues for our Veterans. 🇺🇸
Throughout the day, our members participated in engaging workshops, including:
Card making for Veterans ❤️
Creating Christmas ornaments for those affected by recent hurricanes 🎄
Training on 1-minute speeches 📢
Learning about the exciting STAR competitions 🌟
We also enjoyed making name tags, roll call posters, and crafting 5 beautiful table centerpieces! While we didn’t win any competitions, the memories we created and the lessons we learned were priceless.
Thank you to everyone who participated and supported us! Let’s keep up the great work and continue making a difference together! 💪✨
