Hello everyone!

My kiddos begin school on the 10th, which gives me some dates I have more wiggle room for Evaluations

I am wide open August 11th, 14th, 17th (except between 12-1), 20th, and 26th. On these days, I am available between roughly 8:30 and 2:30pm.

If you need dates or times other than this, I am happy to work with you and your family...feel free to message me with your availability and I will do my best to make it happen!

Evaluations are 25$ cash or 30$ on EMA (65$ if you would like more input, recommendations or consulting)

Hello beloved PEP homeschool families,

SUFS has begun to sort out their availability list. Emails will state there is funding available for your student or funding is NOT available for your student.

If there is funds available, proceed cautiously optimistic. I would still suggest staying within a comfortable budget for this fall until funds hit the account, I would not spend more than what I am willing to spend without the scholarship.... Basically nothing is real until money hits your account, but this does suggest that you have money being set aside.

If funds are NOT available for your child for the 2026-2027 school year, you need to send a letter of intent to your home education office. You will be truant in the state of Florida if your child is not enrolled somewhere or somehow this school year. We can do a termination letter if the wait-list opens up.

I have seen an email circulating for a few that they are being offered by email to go to AAA. This is strictly an offer made to individuals, not the waitlisted masses. I would not advise switching if you were not selected. AAA is a smaller funding organization, they have different guides and it is ill-advised to attempt to switch without a direct offer. Keep in mind, if you go to AAA it is my understanding you would not be a renewal family in the spring if you wanted to switch to sufs--it would not be worth the risk imo.

Step Up For Students is cracking down on fraud (enrolled in a public school while receiving funds).

It's okay if you're still undecided, but you must select that you understand under perjury that you are not enrolled in a public school.

Every opportunity is a homeschool moment❤️

Tonight we were picking lemon balm and driving the four wheeler out to the passion flowers for my daughter's night time tea. She runs to her daddy, "look, it's a medicinal flower that helps you sleep!"

I would highly recommend Sky Zone to any homeschool parent with the scholarship. They are a direct provider. The pass came with the socks and one free guest pass a month. My kids spent 2 hours being active in the AC. Aurora was injured twice but she is super resilient and insisted on staying (adding the staff was crazy sweet and got her an ice pack):

While there I got to see my children:
Socially problem solve (Speech/Language)
Use science phrases like gravity, inertia and friction
Integrate primitive reflexes like moro and stnr (OT/PT)
Get much needed sensory input (OT)
Work on core and upper body strength (PT)
Use engineering skills
Use expressive language to communicate with myself and others. (S/L)
Emotionally regulate when sensory overwhelm or social problems happened (S/L)

The list goes on.

Being the parent of an autistic comes with unique challenges, even if I have similar unique challenges... For example, my daughter struggles with interoception to the point she can struggle with how high her pain tolerance is...

This week she was diagnosed with a double ear infection with a sinus infection. Then to top off the lunacy, my daughter told me she chipped her molar ("I'm not sure a long time ago") and it is stuck in between two teeth. "Can you get it out? It feels odd." I'm a bit horrified at what I found with a flashlight.

If you are struggling with your unique home, I get it. Trust me when I say I get it.
