There is a Borchardt Parent Teacher Association membership meeting on Tuesday, May 30th, from 8:00 to 9:00 am. This is open to all PTA members and it will be a virtual meeting via Zoom. It is an election meeting along with other agenda items. Please register to attend on the included Google form. An email with a Zoom link will be sent out to registered PTA members on Monday. It is Teacher Appreciation Week (May 8th-12th) so let's shower the staff at Borchardt will kindness and gratitude. They do much more than just teach our kids. A card, a drawing, or a thoughtful email is a wonderful way to show appreciation. If you are looking for ideas, a list of Staff Favorites is included. Borchardt students will have Valentine's party on Tuesday, February 14th. We need a volunteer for each classroom to make this party possible. We don't want the kids to miss out on the fun. The party events are already planned and party supplies are purchased. The parties are easy to host and the time commitment is 1:45-2:45 pm.

Great news! Two students from our Borchardt Elementary PTA family have received awards for their entries in the PTA Reflections Art Contest.

Janani N., a Kindergarten student, received a 4th place Mastery Award in the Primary, K-2nd grades, Visual Arts category.

Vanya A., a 5th-grade student, received a 5th place Award of Merit in the Intermediate, 3rd-5th grades, Literature category.

Congratulations to Janani and Vanya!

The Winter party is tomorrow! This event is sponsored and hosted by the Borchardt Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and we have have a fun event planned. The kids will be peeking into Santa's Workshop and escaping before he arrives.
