Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE) JoVE is the world-leading producer and provider of science videos, with the mission to improve scientific research and education.

JoVE was established as a new tool in life science publication and communication, with participation of scientists from leading research institutions. JoVE takes advantage of video technology to capture and transmit the multiple facets and intricacies of life science research. Visualization greatly facilitates the understanding and efficient reproduction of both basic and complex experimental techniques, thereby addressing two of the biggest challenges faced by today’s physical, medical, and life science research community: i) low transparency and poor reproducibility of experiments and ii) time and labor-intensive nature of learning new experimental techniques.

Call for Abstracts | Xenopus Protocols: Methods for Development, Physiology, and Disease Research. JoVE invites researchers to submit abstracts to this Topical Collection guest edited by Hazel Sive (University of Massachusetts Boston). The collection showcases reproducible visual protocols using Xenopus laevis and Xenopus tropicalis, including embryo manipulation, microinjection, live imaging, and functional assays to support research in development, regeneration, and disease.
