Be part of every childโs success story!
At the end of the day, we all want to see our students become productive, resourceful and contributing members of our society. That means no matter if you are a parent, student, teacher, or community members, we want to every childโs potential to become their reality. You can help that happen by joining a campus PTA TODAY.
Campus PTAs need parents, teachers, students and community members to join together to create environments where community spirit shines, student and parent education programs thrive, and voices are heard. As a member-based child advocacy group, PTA needs members to make these goals come to fruition. Join a local campus or an entire feeder pattern TODAY!
Developing Community Spirit: A local campus PTA develops community spirit through a variety of means including Spirit Wear, Back to School Picnics, Holiday Parties, Parent Meet & Greets, and Membership Meetings. Supporting these programs is pretty easy if you are a parent, teacher or student, but what if you are a Community Member? Each campus has a Ways and Means Chair or VP that would be happy to connect with you and find out how you can participate and support the community building goal of PTA. In addition, you can always contact [email protected], the Council Ways and Means VP, to connect on a larger level.
Education Programming: A local campus PTA strives to present appropriate student and parent programming based on the needs of their local campus. Programming could include Character Development, Drug Awareness, College Readiness, Cyber-bullying/Bullying or Leadership Development. The best way to support these programs is to attend. These programs are available for all to take advantage of but most do have a price tag associated with them. Off-setting the financial impact to the local PTA can be done through membership dues or special program sponsorships by our Community Members. Each local campus has a Programs Chair or VP who would love to hear from you if you want to support a program. In addition, the Council of PTAs loves to put on programs for the entire district! You can contact us at [email protected] to let us know of your interest, too.
