Field Day Volunteers Needed!
It's Field Day time! Let's make this a memorable day for our kids! Please sign up for a time slot (or two, if you can help for the whole day!). We will try to assign you to the station you signed up for, but please plan to be flexible, in case you are needed elsewhere. Kinder-2nd grade will be out in the morning and 3rd-5th grade will be in the afternoon. **Grade levels are noted on signup slots**

Please wear a Davis shirt, if you have one. If you'd like to purchase one, shirts are available for $5 at linktr.ee/davisplanopta. We also recommend wearing sunscreen and bringing a water bottle and sunglasses.
Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled Field Day time. When you arrive at school, please check in at the office with your government-issued ID. You MUST be VOLY approved via pisd.edu/volunteer for the 2023-2024 school year to volunteer at Field Day.

Mathnasium will be hosting math-related games that will help unlock your child's passion and understanding for math in a fun and constructive setting. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make math exciting and engaging for your child.

She inspires students, assists teachers, is an overall team player and has a heart for Dolphins (the Davis variety especially)

Important Dolphin Dash Fun Run information!

1. Dolphin Dash is Thursday, March 28, during the school day! Students will get to participate in a fun obstacle course, including inflatables and foam! Please dress your student comfortably and in athletic shoes. We recommend they bring a towel and a change of clothes, just in case, especially if they have earned the foam party incentive. Please make sure they bring a water bottle, as well.
2. We still need volunteers to help on Thursday, March 28. We'll need people to help at the inflatable obstacle courses, incentive stations (water balloons, food fight, and foam party), and in general. Sign up for as many shifts as you like or the entire day! Volunteers must be VOLY approved for this school year (at pisd.edu/volunteer).

Individual incentives:
Raise $25 - Earn a SPLASH band - throw a water balloon at a willing participant

The top two students in each grade who have raised the most money will get to silly string Mrs. Wetzel.
