We also want to recognize and celebrate Karla Persels as she begins her retirement and honor her many years of service in Deaf Education. Karla dedicated 24 years as an Itinerant Teacher with the Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf and 14 years prior serving students in Deaf Education in Greenville, making a lasting difference in the lives of students and families over a remarkable 38-year career.
Her care for students, passion for Deaf Education, and support of families have left a meaningful impact on our students, staff, and community. We are deeply grateful for the years she invested in supporting students and helping them succeed.
Congratulations, Karla, on your retirement, and thank you for your years of service and dedication. You will be missed, and we wish you all the best in this next chapter! ❤️

Gina is retiring!!
As Gina Lambert begins her retirement, we want to recognize and celebrate her 26 years of dedicated service to the Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf. As a CART provider, Gina played an important role in supporting communication access and creating opportunities for student success.
Her dedication, kindness, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our students, staff, and families. We are deeply grateful for the many years she invested in our program and the difference she made in the lives of so many.
Congratulations, Gina, on your retirement, and thank you for 26 incredible years of service to Plano RDSPD. You will be missed, and we wish you all the best in this next chapter!
