Yesterday, our fifth grade class spent the day at the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge. They enjoyed learning about animals, hiking, and exploring nature!

Tomorrow is $1 Dress Day! Help raise money for the 7th and 8th grade Texas Tour, and wear an outfit of your choosing at the same time! You may wear any outfit provided it adheres to school standards. Participating students must pay $1 at the door as they enter the school. Students in standard uniforms do not need to pay.

Congratulations to Faith Lutheran High School senior Julia Voicu, who has been named a 2025 National Merit Finalist. This tremendous achievement places her among the top 1% of all U.S. high school seniors. We applaud Julia for her unwavering dedication to her studies at Faith Lutheran School and look forward to seeing all that God has planned for her future!

Last Thursday, Faith Lutheran School held its annual Science Fair. Middle and high school students worked hard on their projects over several months and enjoyed this opportunity to share their learning with others. The ninth-grade class gave an entertaining demonstration of science in action. Well done, scholars!!

All are invited to the middle school’s 30th Annual Shakespeare Dinner Theater on Saturday, March 29. The students will perform "As You Like It." Dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the play at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale through March 17! Order online (https://tinyurl.com/yc37e5dk) or in the school office.

Our next Great Books Club meeting is this Friday, March 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the Martin Luther room. We will discuss "1984" by George Orwell and "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle. Hope to see you there!

All are invited to the annual Faith Lutheran School Science Fair on Thursday, March 6, at 6:30pm. See projects from students in grades 6, 8, 10, and 12 and watch a special science demonstration presented by the 9th grade class!

All are welcome to join us for Ash Wednesday services at Faith Lutheran Church. Come worship with the students at morning chapel (8:40 a.m.) or attend a divine service at noon or 7 p.m. All services include the imposition of ashes.

On Friday, February 14, our scholars participated in Latin Day. Their study of the Latin language came to life as they experienced Roman culture through gladiator training, food, games, and more!

On Saturday, Faith Lutheran School hosted its first-ever February Fling! It was a memorable night of fun, fellowship, and fantastic music. The event exceeded our fundraising goal, and we raised $11,000 for much-needed technology updates and need-based scholarships! Sincere thanks to all who made this event a success. Last week, our varsity basketball teams played their last home games of the season. We took this opportunity to recognize our senior players, Madi, Samuel, and Kenny, for their valuable contributions to our teams this season and throughout their years at FLS! Go, Lions!! 🦁
