Mentorship in Action: PYP Exhibition

This week, our 5th graders began their IB PYP Exhibition journey by meeting with their teacher mentors from across campus.

Students shared the topics they are passionate about exploring, and mentors helped push their thinking as they worked to develop strong, meaningful central ideas for their student-created units of inquiry.

Through thoughtful questions and reflection, mentors help students deepen their inquiry while keeping the learning fully student-driven.

We are excited to see how their curiosity and inquiry continue to grow as they move forward in the Exhibition process!

At Imagine Schools, character development is just as important as academic growth. Each year, scholars across the country participate in the Imagine Schools National Character Essay Contest, reflecting on a theme that strengthens both heart and mind.

This year’s theme was Empathy — the ability to understand and care about the feelings and experiences of others.

Our Grade 3–5 scholars poured their hearts into powerful essays demonstrating compassion, perspective-taking, and thoughtful reflection. We are proud to announce that one outstanding essay from each grade level (Grades 3-5) has been selected to advance to the national competition!

In addition, our younger learners showcased their understanding of empathy through creative and meaningful posters that beautifully captured what it means to care for others.

Please join us in congratulating our campus winners! We are so proud of our Eagles for living out empathy in both words and action.

Fourth graders from Imagine Lone Star International Academy took their Texas History learning to life on Friday, February 20, with a Discover Texas field trip to Austin!

Students explored the Texas State Capitol, visited legislators’ offices, and saw where Texas laws are made. At the Bullock Texas State History Museum, they traveled through the Texas Revolution and experienced the powerful Star of Destiny show—bringing the Lone Star story to life from oil gushers to space exploration.

Our 3rd graders put service into action during their field trip to Feed My Starving Children!

Students worked together to pack meals that will be sent to children and families around the world, showing that small hands can lead to big change.

This experience connected beautifully to their current Unit of Inquiry, Where We Are in Place and Time, as learners explored the idea that individual actions shape society.

Through collaboration, empathy, and purposeful action, our Eagles saw how they are part of a global community and how their choices truly matter.
