We hope that you all enjoyed Take Flight. If you were unable to pick up your school supply kit, don't worry!! They will be in your child's 1st period class on the first day of school.

Just a reminder that Take Flight will take place on Monday, August 5, 2024.

***Schedules should be available by 8:00 am on the 5th. REMINDER all holds must be cleared before you are able to access schedules.

***7th and 8th Grade families are invited to come and walk the halls from 8:30am to 10:30am.

**** 6th Grade families are invited to come walk the halls from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. REMINDER this is not meet the teachers day. They will be off campus.

****School Supplies: you should be able to pick up your school supplies during your scheduled time.

The PSHS Varsity Cheerleaders are providing a Kitty Clinic for 4th - 6th grade girls. The clinic is May 1st and participants will get to perform at Clark Stadium before the Maroon and White Spring Game on May 10th at 6:40p.m.!

The Spring Game will be a community event including face painting, food trucks, games and a bounce house. We are excited to invite the families of these girls to participate in the fun and see the girls perform at the FREE Spring Game.

Clark Band JamFest Concert

Clark High School Band is hosting its FIRST ever JamFest concert on Wednesday, April 24th at 6 PM in the Clark Cafeteria!

This concert will feature the Clark jazz band and Plano Senior Band chamber music (such as the sax choir and trombone choir). We will also have desserts available for purchase to eat while listening to the students’ beautiful performances (all proceeds will benefit the Clark Band).

Let Your Color Run!!

Just a little friendly competition going on at Hendrick Middle School! 😁

We are SO EXCITED for Hendrick Middle School's Fifth Annual Color Run, this year paired with the Solar Eclipse - OUR FAVORITE AND ONLY MAJOR EVENT OF THE YEAR!!! MONDAY, APRIL 8, ECLIPSE VIEWING will begin around 12:20pm AND COLOR RUN will begin around 1:50pm AND POST CELEBRATION will begin around 3:00pm. This is going to be an AMAZING experience for the students at Hendrick Middle School! All students are able to participate!

Experience the Solar Eclipse (with solar glasses provided by PISD/School), Groove to DJ Played Tunes, Walk, Jog or Run the One Mile Course while color is thrown your way at several stations along the route. Specifics are as follows:

ECLIPSE GLASSES: will be provided by PISD and given to participants at school on Monday, April 8th.

PLEDGE/SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES ITEMS AND SHIRTS: will be given to participants at school on Friday, April 5th and/or Monday, April 8th.

ECLIPSE INFORMATION: Partial begins at 12:23 pm, Totality begins at 1:40 pm, Maximum is at 1:42 pm, Totality ends at 1:44 pm, Partial ends at 3:02 pm, April 8, 2024

COLOR RUN: Begins around 1:50 pm, April 8, 2024

POST CELEBRATION SNACKS, CONCESSIONS AND KONA ICE: Available after the Run. Post celebration includes Connecting with Friends, Snacks, Treats, Beverages, Concessions and Kona Ice.

All students are able to participate. As our Annual Color Run is our ONLY MAJOR fundraiser event of the year though, to support student programs and host this event, we need your help please with PLEDGES/SPONSORSHIPS, MONETARY DONATIONS, SNACKS/ITEMS DONATIONS and VARIOUS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.

On April 8th we will be experiencing the Great American Eclipse. We would like to help our students make this an event to remember.

The students will be provided with a pair of eclipse glasses and all that will be missing is a snack! We would like to provide them with a Moon Pie, Sun Chips and/or Capri Sun! 😉😎 If you are unable to donate an item, please consider a monetary donation. We will be more than happy to do the shopping for you.
