Our Comets showed off last night at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King diversity celebration. We are so proud of their writing and art work that exemplifies this year's theme "Together for Tomorrow".
Victoria Roe was this year's district writing winner for Kindergarten.
Violet Holman, Hannah White and Lucy Chism collaborated on an art piece that won 1st place at the campus level and was displayed in the art gallery at the Robinson Fine Arts Center.
We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Cheyanne Arnett to the Centennial Elementary family as a first-grade teacher! With nearly 8 years of experience in childcare and education, Ms. Arnett brings a wealth of passion and dedication to our team. Teaching first grade has been a lifelong dream for her, and she is excited to help her students learn, grow, and thrive in a fun and engaging classroom environment.
Outside of the classroom, she enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her friends and family, and doting on her two beloved pets. This summer, she and her fiancé are also celebrating a major milestone as they plan their wedding!
Please join us in giving a warm Centennial welcome to Ms. Arnett as she embarks on this exciting journey with us!
Feeling so grateful for our amazing staff at Centennial Elementary! Despite the freezing temperatures, they’re out there every morning, opening doors and greeting students with warm smiles. It's these small acts of kindness that make a big difference in starting the day off right. We’re so lucky to have such dedicated people caring for our kids! ❄️💙
It’s with both joy and a touch of sadness that we announce the retirement of our beloved cafeteria worker, Rita. For years, she has brightened our days with a smile, a kind word, and of course, some of the best meals we’ve ever had!
Join us in celebrating her incredible service and dedication at a small gathering on February 4th at Centennial. Let's give Rita the send-off she truly deserves as we honor her years of hard work and kindness.
Don’t miss out on this chance to say thank you and wish her the best in this exciting new chapter!
2nd-grade classes, recently held a mock election to learn about voting and democracy! Each student got a chance to cast their ballot, practicing how to make choices and respect others’ opinions. It was a fun way to introduce the concept of elections while helping everyone understand how important it is to participate and share their voice. 🇺🇸
Guess what?? The Sci-Tech Discovery Center in Frisco is coming to Centennial! Don't miss this amazing STEM event sponsored by our Centennial Elementary PTA!
