Hendrick MS Orchestra

I took my final bow at Hendrick MS at the End of Year Orchestra Concert on Monday. I couldn’t be prouder of each and every student in this program. They brought their best and played their hearts out! This marks the end of an era for me and am so thankful for all the memories I will take with me to my new adventure.

After 26 incredible years at Hendrick Middle School in Plano ISD, I will begin the next school year as the Head Orchestra Director at the brand-new Moseley Middle School in Prosper ISD! I’m excited to help launch both the school and its Orchestra program alongside two amazing assistant directors.

I am so grateful for the experiences, friendships, and support I’ve had at Hendrick and in Plano. I’ll be taking countless memories with me that will continue to guide and inspire me!

But I’m not done yet! Our last Hendrick MS Orchestra concert is MAY 19 and we’re going to end the year strong!!!

Hendrick MS Team Music delivered all souls back to school safe and sound!!!

Hendrick MS Band, Choir, and Orchestra are loaded and headed to Hawaiian Waters!!! It’s gonna be an amazing day for some water fun! WOOT!!!

Congratulations to the Beginner and Intermediate Orchestras for receiving all SUPERIOR ratings at the PISD Music Festival!!! AWESOME!!!

The Hendrick Full Orchestra, comprised of members from the Wind Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Chris Black and members of the Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Dennis Langevin, had an amazing concert last night! Congratulations to all of our Full Orchestra musicians!!!

What would you do if your violin and bow were smaller than you remember when you opened your case in class??? Amazing April Foolery!!!

Congratulations to the Hendrick MS Advanced and Chamber Orchestras! They performed at UIL and received all Superior Ratings on stage and all Superior rating in sight-reading earning each group a Sweepstakes award!!!

Always excited to have Betsy Thomas work with our Hendrick MS Advanced and Chamber Orchestras! They learned so much and made tremendous improvement! Thank you, Mrs. Thomas!!!
