Our Children’s Day Out Program
Children’s Day Out is for children 18 to 35 months of age (by September 1 of the current school year). Our mature, experienced Children’s Day Out teachers lovingly introduce the children to what may be their first school experience. Our Preschool Program
The preschool program is for children 3 to 5 years of age (by September 1). The curriculum includes both small and

large group activities and learning centers designed to complement weekly teaching topics. Our kindergarten is for children turning 5 before September 1st who would benefit from a small class setting in a Christian environment. The curriculum follows the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) from the Texas Administrative Code, including but not limited to Language Arts, Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies. (TEKS for Kindergarten are available on the TEA website: www.tea.state.tx.us/curriculum ) Children who complete kindergarten at Custer Road will be eligible to enter first grade the following year.
