October is School Principal Appreciation Month, and we're kicking it off by expressing our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible principal, Ms. Huechteman. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to our school community! 🌟

Growing big, strong, and brave! 🍅

For Take a Taste Tuesday, Mrs. Carson’s class sampled some delicious cherry tomatoes kindly shared by Ms. Varnau. We learned how tomatoes help our brains focus and our hearts pump strong. Student reactions were mixed, but everyone agreed that the tomatoes were very juicy and a beautiful red color. ❤️🧠

We’re kicking things off with strawberries as we begin our journey to “eat the rainbow!” Stay tuned to see what color we taste next.
Fun Strawberry Fact: Did you know you can eat the entire strawberry—stem and leaves included? 🌿

McCall Elementary is proud to support the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) Peanut Butter Drive through the end of September! 🐴✨
Help our C**ts learn about compassion and community care by participating in this friendly local competition.
Two ways to give:
• 🥜 Physical Jars: Send plastic jars of peanut butter, alternative nut butters, or non-nut spreads to school with your student. (Boxes are by the library!)
• 💻 Virtual Donations: Give online quickly and securely with the link in the grahic.
Let’s work together to support local families in need! ❤️ **ts
