🚒📚 Harmony Science Academy Plano PTO teamed up with the Plano Fire Department to make Career Week and Dr. Seuss Week unforgettable! Our PK-2 students enjoyed a special read-aloud, learned about firefighting careers, and got an up-close look at a real fire truck! 🔥👩‍🚒 Thank you, Plano Fire-Rescue Station 2 , for all that you do for our school and community! ❤️

Our K-5 GT students partnered with Challenge Island - West Plano-North Dallas, TX for an exciting day where engineering meets imagination! 🔧✨ They tackled two thrilling STEAM challenges:

🎢 Rockin’ Roller Coasters (Star Mountain) – Designing hills, curves, and loops to test physics & velocity! Where will the marble travel? The possibilities are endless! 🎇

🛹 Skateboard Park – Students engineered their own skateboards & skateparks, exploring this Olympic sport in action! 🏂🔥 Plus, they took home their own fingerboard skateboard!

Harmony Science Academy-Plano 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 today, Wednesday, Feb. 19. While we typically do not send notifications when there are no changes to the school day, we wanted to provide an update due to the questions we’ve received and to support our families.

Students should dress warmly and in layers.
