Children’s Discovery Center at Christ United is the preschool ministry of Christ United Methodist

We offer weekday programs for children ages 12 months thru 5 years of age for members and non-members of CUMC. We are conveniently located at Coit and Parker Roads in Plano, Texas. Children’s Discovery Center at Christ United believes that each child is a child of God and should have the opportunity to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually to his or her fullest

potential. Children’s Discovery Center at Christ United provides learning experiences through hands-on activities with small groups of children of the same age. Emphasis is placed on the needs of the individual child to develop self confidence and independence in successful learning opportunities.

We’re kicking off a very special year at Children’s Discovery Center—our 50th school year! 💛

For five decades, CDC has been a place where children have learned, played, grown, made friends, discovered their gifts, and experienced God’s love. And so much of what makes CDC special is because of the incredible families, children, teachers, and staff who have been part of our story. 🥰

This week during our training, our team came together to pack breakfast bags for students at Family Gateway. We are so proud of our amazing teachers and the joy they bring to serving our community! What a meaningful way to begin our 50th school year! ✨🙏
