Abuela's began as a project of love. Martha's first grandson, Ariel, was also her first client. After years of education and training, Martha opened the doors to Abuela's Registered Home Daycare. "Abuela" is Spanish for grandmother. Some of the children call her "Abuela," while others call her "Ms. Martha" - whatever they are most comfortable with! Specializing in early childhood development, Abue

la brings life skills training complimented by a thoughtful nutrition program to the children in her care. Her experience includes caring for special needs children, serving as a teacher's assistant for Plano ISD and, of course, raising her own two children. Abuela's is an alternative to the large childcare franchise. Her home-based approach is designed to establish a comfortable space in which a child can thrive. The small size allows your child to realize their individuality within a family-like community without being overwhelmed. She has a long list of happy parents and children who have become a part of her extended family, sharing updates and staying in touch after their children start school. Call to set up an appointment.
