We will cover all the basic concepts of drawing and painting. As an art teacher, I believe it is my job to develop that creative thought process while instilling the basic fundamentals of art.

The humble orange is one of our most enduring subjects. We learn how to take a flat image and add pencil shading to to create a 3D sphere. We then learn how to add tints and shades to orange paint to create a fruit out of a blob of paint. It’s a simple lesson that teaches a lot. Here are three kids that had a disproportionate amount of fun doing this.
