Congratulations to Ms. Anna Camarena and Ms. Meg Mercer for being recognized with special Teacher Appreciation Awards honoring their outstanding contributions to Dooley Elementary! 🏆💙

Anna Monique Camarena was recognized for “Going Above the Call” in appreciation of her unwavering dedication to our school community. From her incredible support at all fundraising events to her leadership as the Teacher Representative for the Dooley PTA, Ms. Camarena consistently goes above and beyond to serve our students, staff, and families. Her commitments aand school spirit make a lasting impact on our campus!

Ms. Meg Mercer was recognized for “Innovation” for her outstanding work supporting teachers with technology integration and ensuring our staff is equipped with the tools and resources needed to support our 21st-century learners. Her leadership and forward-thinking approach help keep Dooley growing and thriving in today’s digital world.

These awards were presented by the Director of Education for the Omicron Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Mr. Terrell Shaw, alongside Mr. Arthur Blackwell. Ms. Camarena and Ms. Mercer got some extra hugs from our principal, Dr. Blackwell too!

A special thank you Mr. Arthur Blackwell, Mr. Terrell Shaw, and Chapter President Eric Hill for taking the time to recognize and celebrate the dedication of our educators. Your support and appreciation mean so much to our Dooley staff and community! 💙
