Bet you didn’t know . . . Every baby coos, cries, and babbles on their own “home notes.” Listen carefully and you’ll start to hear it. When we sing with our babies, they coo and babble on OUR notes, but when our song’s over, they go back to their home note. As children grow and develop, they start to intentionally sing the notes in music around them, but they all start “singing” on their own personal notes. Cool, right?
