From our preschool graduation stage to her college commencement! 🍎 Today we’re celebrating alum Naomi; highlighting her personal growth, academic success at Colgate University, and the wonderful contributions she has made to Gan Shalom and RSNS over the years.
Naomi’s connection to our community started at the very beginning, and as she grew, she continued to give back to the place that shaped her...spending her summers as a dedicated Gan Shalom camp counselor and returning to substitute teach during her school breaks.
Reflecting on her journey, Naomi shares:
"I have been a part of Gan Shalom and RSNS since I was born. The community has become a family to me and I feel I can constantly grow with them. Gan Shalom and RSNS is the most welcoming group. They allow you to feel comfortable and loved. I have learned how to be a leader as well as a listener [during] my time at Gan Shalom."
Her foundational years here and her passion for helping others inspired her next steps after Colgate: pursuing her graduate degree in child psychology, with the goal of supporting children and families with special needs! 🤝
