New Hampshire Kid Governor 2022, Charlotte Cotti, ran on the Platform of - Helping The Homeless in New Hampshire. She recently conducted a Sock Drive in her school district, Timberlane. This drive collected 1,239 pairs of new socks between Pollard School, the SAU, and Sandown Central. All the socks were delivered to the organization “Families in Transition” in Manchester, NH. Sandown North School also collected socks for this drive and will be donating them to the shelter of their choice. Thanks to everyone in the district that donated. These socks will help people across NH that need our support in finding a home.

The Timberlane Art Department is proud to display our Fall/Winter District Art Show. We have complied a variety of artworks from our students in this virtual setting for all to see. These works of art represent the time and love for creativity and discovery. Art is a valued reflection of self and a representation of our children’s ability to play with abstract ideas. We thank you for our communities’ continued support in the arts and look forward to what the rest of the school year will bring us!

The first book posted is The Hat by Jan Brett. The Story Walk begins on the playground outside the car drop off door and ends on the other side of the building outside the entrance to the yellow building. Each page is numbered. The Story Walk was funded in part by a NH Humanities Sharp Grant received in conjunction with the Plaistow Public Library. Come and enjoy some “litercise”.
