What an incredible week at our Summer Music Camp! 🎶☀️

This year, we welcomed middle school students from across southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts for both our Strings Camp and Band Camp. Over four fun-filled days, students worked hard developing their sight-reading skills, rehearsing challenging music, and preparing for a fantastic final concert.

Of course, it wasn't all practice! We also enjoyed the beautiful summer weather with lawn games, time outdoors, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends and lasting memories.

Since this was the first year our Strings Camp and Band Camp ran simultaneously, we had the exciting opportunity to combine both ensembles for our final concert piece. It was a truly special collaboration and the perfect way to celebrate an amazing week of music-making together.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff, supportive families, and, most importantly, our talented students for making this year's camp such a success. We can't wait to do it again next summer! 🎻🎺🎼

What happens when you bring musicians together for 4 days of pure musical magic? You get the Timberlane Summer Band & Strings Camp! 🎻🥁

Talk about a whirlwind week! Students representing 13 different schools joined forces, achieving the ultimate musical feat: preparing an entire concert in just 3 days! On Day 4, they absolutely rocked the stage.

The performance showcased Concert Band & String Orchestra classics, numerous talented small ensembles, and a show-stopping Grand Finale where band and strings united to perform Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? To top it all off, a surprise guest conductor took the podium to lead our mystery-solving musicians! 🐾

There is still time to sign your child up for Timberlane's Summer Strings Camp with Mrs. Yankowskas. This summer strings camp is for students in grades 4-6 and will take place at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center, Monday June 22nd - Thursday June 25th, from 9:00am - 12:00 pm. Cost of camp is $108 per student and includes a camp t-shirt. This camp is a great opportunity to play music with friends, learn some new skills on your instrument, and have another performance opportunity. The camp orchestra will perform in concert for their families on Thursday June 25th.

(and just to let you know, your child does not have to be a Timberlane student to join this exciting summer strings camp)

There is still time to sign your child up for Mr. Hachten's Summer Band Camp. The camp is open to any student who has just completed grade 6, 7, or 8. The camp will be held at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center, Monday June 22nd - Thursday June 25th, from 1:30pm-5:30pm. Cost of camp is $118 per student and includes a camp t-shirt. Mr. Hachten's camp will focus on site reading skills and this year's music theme will be "America's 250th Anniversary". It will feature master classes with professional musicians and culminate in a final performance (families are invited) on Thursday June 25th!

(and just to let you know, your child does not have to be a Timberlane student to join this exciting summer band camp).

There is still time to sign your child up for Timberlane's Summer Band Camp w/ Mrs. Bartlett. This camp is for students who have just completed grades 4, 5, or 6 and have also completed at least one year on their instrument. The camp will take place at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center, Monday June 22nd - Thursday June 25th, from 8:30am-12:30pm. Cost of the camp is $118 per student and includes a camp t-shirt. This summer band camp will offer students a chance to make music together and learn about their instrument through master classes with professional instructors and a camp band. The camp band will perform in concert (families are invited) on Thursday-June 25th!
