Allegan County Ensemble Allegan County Ensemble (ACE) is a winter color guard (winter guard) program based in Allegan County, Michigan. Director: Issa Lewis

Allegan County Ensemble (ACE) was founded in 2011 by Mark Heather as an outlet for local high school students to continue to work on their colorguard skills outside of marching season. The group performed in exhibition at Michigan Colorguard Circuit (MCGC) events. In 2012, Issa Lewis joined the staff as Director, and the group came out competitively in MCGC for the first time. The following year,

the team took the bronze medal home at MCGC State Championships, and in 2016, ACE won the gold medal in Independent Regional A. ACE is now open to anyone aged 22 and younger, with middle school students allowed on an audition basis. We are a family made up of students from many schools, many districts, and many backgrounds, and we're proud of it! We welcome all to come and see what ACE is about, and how it positively impacts youth in Allegan County and beyond.

Please join us tomorrow for our annual Friends & Family Performance! All are welcome to come cheer the team on in their last performance before MCGC Championships. Doors will open at Plainwell High School at 8pm TOMORROW, March 26, with the performance beginning at 8:30pm.

As this is our 15th season as a team, we are specially inviting all of our ACE alumni and their families to celebrate!

Today is our LAST DAY of our WiddyUP fundraiser! We are pushing to $2500 in donations, which fulfills so much of our needed fundraising for the entire year.

For the last 15 years, ACE has provided a creative home for close to 150 young people in the Allegan County area and beyond. It is an incredible family we have built, and hope to keep going for years to come. Please take this last opportunity to help us keep the ACE spirit alive!

TODAY'S THE DAY! Our WiddyUP fundraiser runs November 17-December 8. ACE Winter Guard is an independent organization--all of our funding comes through fundraising and sponsorship, or else it comes out of our members' pockets. Since our goal is to always keep costs as low as possible and create an accessible space for anyone to participate, regardless of their financial situation, these fundraisers are vital to us.
