Starr Families: The wait is over — teacher letters have been sent! 📫 Be on the lookout for mail from Starr Elementary over the next few days.

New families: there’s still time to enroll! Please finish enrollment as soon as possible so we can get your letters in the mail.

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we can’t wait to see you at Open House on Wednesday, August 26th from 5:00-6:30 PM!

With Fall Fest on the horizon, we will need a LOT of help! If you are willing to donate your talents, treasure (donations, sponsorships) or time, please reach out to us ([email protected]) so we can keep you in the loop as opportunities arise. If you have a child in need of volunteer hours, you can reach out on their behalf as well!

It takes a VILLAGE to make Starr the amazing Elementary School that it is and we hope you'll join ours. 🌟

Happy Friday, Starr Families!

After the whirlwind that was May, we definitely needed a breather!

The Starr Strut brought so much joy this year and we loved being able to finish off the school year with experience prizes for all of the money we raised. Between Hat Day, Duckett Bucket Day, Kona Ice, Picnic Lunch, Water Recess and the Glow Party for all students--the joy was palpable.

Our various prize earning students got to enjoy Super Mario Galaxy at m89, a Culver's Picnic Lunch with Mrs. Luckett, Popsicles, Water Balloon Fights and getting to see their faces on the scoreboard at the Strut depending on their prize level. They seemed to really love participating in these and we will definitely keep this prize structure in mind as we move forward.

We would like to thank everyone who helped pull this month of craziness off. Teachers and staff were so patient with us as we added even more to their plates during an already crazy time for educators. District employees came out to help on the field, parent volunteers helped spread joy and keep kids safe. We are so grateful for our community and for all of you who help us make Starr a great place to be.

We are gearing up for MONDAY FUNDAY tomorrow to kick off the LAST WEEK OF THE SCHOOL YEAR! 🥳🥳🥳

🎬M89 Field Trip for the $200 Earners for Starr Strut!
🍔Culver's Lunch for the $150 Earners for Starr Strut!
🌟and the GLOW PARTY with DJTJ Entertainment for EVERY Starr Student in the afternoon! We can't wait!

We are ready to turn our gym into Club Starr this weekend! Glow Sticks will be provided for each student but if you would like to send them in neon colors or additional glowy gear, you are welcome to do so!

Thank you for supporting our students--we are excited to make some core memories with them on Monday, it's really what keeps us going!
