Today August 7th, the entire Plainwell Football program, from our incoming freshmen to our seniors, took a break from the field to spend the day together at Van Buren State Park. Program Bonding Day was packed with laughs, competition, and moments that reminded us what it truly means to build a Trojan family.

While Friday nights get the spotlight, the heart of our program is forged away from the scoreboard. The shared grind, the locker room banter, the long bus trips, and afternoons like this on the beach create a bond that outlasts any single season. Our players are building relationships across every grade level and establishing a foundation they’ll carry with them long after their playing days are over.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible parent volunteers who stepped up to help make the day run so smoothly, your support means everything to this program!

And a giant shout-out to Coach Huberty, Coach Saltzman, Coach Davis, and Coach Ragainis for spending the day investing in these young men and leading the way for our entire program.

We recently noticed that the tree in front of the concession stand had died. Working together with the Plainwell Community Schools Operations Department, we were able to replace it. The Operations Department generously provided the new tree, and we supplied the muscle to get it planted.

Thanks to this partnership, Coach Streidl's legacy—and the Class of 1967—will continue to be a meaningful part of our program for years to come.

Hello Trojan Football Fans,

We are nearing the date for our fourth annual Plainwell Football Golf Outing. Registration will close on Tuesday, August 4th. Register today to secure a spot.

We have a couple of great hole in one prizes to announce as well.

Our sponsor Baker Chevy will have a 2 year lease for a 2026 Chevy Equinox (or similar model) for a hole in one on hole #3.

Our sponsor Zeeland Blacktop will have a $5,000 cash prize for a hole in one on hole #12.

The other three par 3's will also have hole in one prizing.
