Good morning, friends! I just discovered the LOVELIEST new book from one of our favorite authors, Peter H. Reynolds. I'll write more about it soon, but in the meantime, please go find yourself a copy of this wonderful story, snuggle up with your little ones, and enjoy this most beautiful collection of words.

Friends, I spent the most fabulous evening at one of the loveliest bookstores ever tonight: An Unlikely Story in Plainville, MA. If you are ever in the area, you MUST visit! Jeff Kinney (beloved author of the Wimpy Kid books) has created a little slice of book lover heaven! My son now has added "own a bookstore like this" to his list of life ambitions. We are in love with this place!

Happy New Year, friends! I hope that 2017 finds you all happy, healthy, and well! I have missed blogging and connecting with you all and hope to do more of that in the year ahead. A new job has kept me busy so I have had less time to share our favorite books with you, but rest assured my kiddos and I are still reading and cherishing those cozy moments together every day. Look who we visited yesterday! If you are ever in Boston, be sure to stop by the Public Garden to see Robert McCloskey's ducklings and take a ride on the Swan Boats. I'm sure you can guess which classic story was part of our bedtime reading last night ❤️🐥

I have been so impressed by the ways our local schools and libraries celebrated summer reading! My son's school had a big outdoor assembly and played Drip, Drip, Drop with the teachers (think Duck, Duck, Goose, but with a cup of water that gets dumped on the Goose's head. So fun!) It was probably his favorite day of school so far! One local library arranged for the summer reading champions to be driven to school on a fire truck. How cool is that?!
