We all had a great time today at my
woodturning demonstration! A special thanks to Brenda Kohler for having me come and demonstrate for her group. As a demonstrator, it was fun seeing the sparke of interest and wonderment in their eyes as I turned a cedar bowl for them.
Pappy’s Woodturning Studio will be continuing weekly classes, hopefully at the beginning of October or the end of September. Be looking for sign ups and woodturning opportunities in the near future!
If you would be interested in me coming to demonstrate woodturning for your group or organization, let me know! I do not charge for demos!

Come see my demonstration today! Township Hall!

Great day for a quick demonstration on the history of the wood lathe and showing folks how the lathe works. Only had an hour, so I just made a quick, little, baseball bat for them. My new, light weight, demonstration lathe worked out great! Looking forward to doing more of these! A huge shout out to Jami Dewey and the librarians at Plainville Memorial library. Looking forward to coming back and doing more :-)

Had a wonderful opportunity of spending some time in Kansas, Oklahoma over the Fourth of July weekend 🙂 My cousin, Tom Hatch and I went out to find some good wood to turn down by the river and came up with these two, stinky, oak, bowl blanks and two, quarter sawn boards:-)
