Sheep buying season has started to slow down, but goat buying season is in full swing.

While we haven’t traded a large number of goats in the past, it’s become apparent that many of our customers operate on both sides of the fence. If we’re going to help with the finishing touches, it only makes sense for us to help with the buying process as well.

If you’re in the market, give us a shout. We’ll have 15–20 wether goats available by private treaty beginning June 25th.

As always, let’s discuss the goals, budgets, etc and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.

NWS Update as of Wednesday-June 17th

This is an update on where we currently stand on the NWS and how it can affect club lamb producers and customers. It’s very in depth and this took me along time to put together so please read it thoroughly.

- Pay attention to what the regulatory agency’s are suggestion and outlining b
- Buy sheep & goats from whoever you want whenever you want and don’t let folks that don’t know utilize a scare tactic into rushing you into a purchase.
- treat, clean and manage wounds, be a good animal husbandry manger and utilize the proven options in place to combat external parasites.

I know this can be a lot to digest but I think if you’ll read it twice it could be beneficial.

More 🦞🐑🪨🗒️✂️fun! Additionally, a BIG shoutout to our buddies from the Helping Hand crew who drove all the way out to west Texas and whipped up a seafood FEAST. Jeff followed up the next day with cooking crawfish along with several others who helped him! We are running what feels like a circus on sale day and we are thankful for dear friends who step in and help. Thank you!
