🌟 Celebrating Our 2025–2026 Parent of the Year: Tevin Holly! 🌟

Although another wonderful school year has come to an end, there are some people whose impact deserves to be celebrated long after the last day of school.

This year, we are proud to recognize Tevin Holly as SSYC's Parent of the Year!

From showing up for school events to supporting his child's learning and being an active, positive presence in our school community, Mr. Holly has truly embodied what partnership between home and school looks like. His dedication, encouragement, and unwavering support have made a lasting difference, not only for his child, but for our entire SSYC family.

Thank you, Mr. Holly, for being an incredible role model and for reminding us of the powerful impact that engaged parents have on a child's success.

✨ What a magical night! ✨

Our very first Little Sprouts Gala was everything we hoped it would be and more. We came together to celebrate our incredible preschoolers as they prepare to take their next big step into kindergarten, and our hearts couldn't be fuller.

The room was filled with laughter, dancing, smiling faces, and unforgettable memories. Watching our children celebrate alongside their families and teachers was a beautiful reminder of how much they've grown this year.

To all of the families who joined us: thank you for making our first gala such a tremendous success. Your love, support, and enthusiasm made the evening truly special.

Here's to our little sprouts... may you continue to bloom wherever life plants you. 🌱💚✨

What an incredible day we had last weekend at our annual Carnival & Resource Fair! ❤️🎪

Our hearts are full as we reflect on a day filled with laughter, games, music, learning, and community. Thank you to all of the families who came out to celebrate with us and made this event so special. Your participation and enthusiasm are what bring our school community to life.

A special thank you to the organizations and community partners who generously shared their time, resources, and services with our families. Your commitment to supporting our children and community does not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful.

Together, we continue to build a village where families feel connected, supported, and celebrated. Thank you for making this year's Carnival & Resource Fair a wonderful success; we can't wait to do it again next year! 🎉✨

We must take time to congratulate our very own Ms. Maria Lazarte who has been named a Union County SHERO for 2026! In addition to being an amazing Teacher Assistant with SSYC, she volunteers and teaches ESL Classes to the community every Saturday!!! Her students love her and surprised her by submitting her recommendation application in ENGLISH!! A beautiful morning filled with families, love, and smiles 💛

Our Month of the Young Child Family Brunch, hosted by Fountain Baptist Church, brought our SSYC community together in the best way. From shared meals to special moments between parents and children, it was a joyful celebration of connection, support, and the importance of family. We are so grateful for everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so meaningful ✨
