Today was a great day of learning, leadership, and planning for our 2026-2027 FFA Officer Team!

We started the day with an incredible tour at Brooks Dairy Farm, where they milk 700 Holstein cows. With the limited number of dairy farms in our area, this was a valuable opportunity for our officers to learn more about modern dairy production. We were all thoroughly impressed with the technology, efficiency, and care that goes into their operation. We even had the chance to sample some of the aged cheddar cheese they using milk from their own cows!

From there, we shifted into planning mode and spent time setting goals and expectations for the upcoming year, discussing ways we can continue to grow as a team, and looking at opportunities to make our chapter even stronger.

We were able to sneak in a quick float down the Crystal River between rain showers before wrapping up the day with dinner and ice cream at Scoopers.

It was a productive day filled with learning, teamwork, and meaningful conversations that will help guide our chapter throughout the year. We’re excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to see what this officer team accomplishes for Tri-County FFA!

What an incredible week it's been at the 97th Wisconsin State FFA Convention in Madison, WI!

This year's theme, Activate, challenged members to step up, get involved, and make an impact and our members did just that!

🏆 We are incredibly proud of Grace, who was recognized as a State Finalist and winner in her proficiency area of Food Service. Grace was also awarded her State FFA Degree; the highest honor the Wisconsin FFA Association can bestow upon its members. Her hard work, dedication, and commitment to agricultural education have truly paid off!

🌟 Dominique and Lauren represented our chapter as delegates, ensuring our members' voices were heard while helping shape the future of Wisconsin FFA. They participated in discussions, voted on bylaw changes, and helped select our next Section 6 State Officer.

🎤 Throughout the week, members attended convention sessions featuring inspiring speakers such as Dr. Temple Grandin and National FFA Southern Region Vice President T. Wayne Williams. Their messages encouraged members to activate their potential, embrace challenges, and make a difference in their communities.

🌱 The week was also filled with opportunities to learn and grow. Members attended workshops, explored careers at the Career Expo, connected with industry leaders, and built relationships with FFA members from across the state.

Cheers to another amazing State FFA Convention and to continuing to Activate the leadership, service, and potential within each of our members!

We had a great time helping organize and lead Rural Youth Safety Day at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Hancock Agricultural Research Station! Fourth graders from across Waushara County rotated through 11 different stations focused on rural, home, and agricultural safety. Our FFA members did an awesome job leading activities and helping younger students learn important safety skills through hands-on experiences.

This morning, our FFA members hit the road to show their appreciation for the hardworking farmers in our community. They delivered hundreds of bottles of milk and donuts to local farms throughout our school district! Just a small gesture to say thank you and wish them a safe and successful planting season!
