Our Pre-K students kicked off their new math unit with some hands-on learning all about sorting! 🔴🟡🔵

After brainstorming what it means to sort, students practiced by matching colorful blocks to bowls and then sorting bugs into groups on their leaves. 🐞🍃

They finished by coloring each group to show off their sorting skills; learning math is even more fun when you can learn by doing! ❤️💙

Our Jr. High students put their engineering skills to the test in STEM class with a challenge: build a working catapult using only craft sticks, rubber bands, and a pencil! 🚀

Students had to think creatively, problem-solve, build, test, and make adjustments to get their designs launching. A great example of hands-on STEM learning in action! 💡

🔵🟢 Making their mark on International Dot Day! 🟡🟣

Our 2nd graders celebrated International Dot Day on September 15 by creating their own unique dots—and then watching their artwork come to life! With the help of technology, students transformed their creations into 3D shapes right before their eyes.

A fun day filled with creativity, imagination, and a little bit of tech magic!

Ready, aim, launch! 🎯

Our 6th graders are exploring the science and engineering behind catapults in STEM! Today, they put their learning into action by testing out a slingshot-style catapult and seeing just how far they could launch.

Hands-on learning + a little friendly competition = a great day in STEM! 🚀
