Another successful hiring event at MADE@Plainfield!

WorkOne Central recently welcomed job seekers and employers together for another hiring event at MADE. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with representatives from BrightStar Care, Masis Staffing Solutions, Job&Talent, and Heartland Food Products Group to learn about current openings and career opportunities.

There's always something happening at MADE!

Recently, Ivy Tech Community College Plainfield students took a break from classes for an Ice Cream Social Spirit Day. Students enjoyed ice cream, painted custom T-shirts for Koda the Ivy Tech bear, and even helped "stuff" their campus mascot.

Events like these help build community, create connections, and remind us that college is about more than the classroom. We're always excited to see our partners bringing energy and fun to the MADE campus!

Public servants from across Indiana were recently at MADE@Plainfield participating in Vincennes University Business & Industry Phlebotomy Training Program in partnership with the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.

This specialized course provides law enforcement officers and other public safety professionals with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to safely perform blood draws as part of their official duties. Through classroom instruction and practical training, participants gain the qualifications needed to support critical public safety efforts in their communities.

We're proud to serve as a training hub where professionals can gain valuable skills, earn certifications, and continue their commitment to serving Indiana communities.

Another great month at MADE@Plainfield!

Recently, our spaces were filled with learning and collaboration as we welcomed the Indiana Family & Social Services Administration for ASAM Training, the Affordable Housing Association of Indiana for Compliance Training, the Hendricks County Health Partnership for its monthly meeting, and saw participants graduated from the Fundraising for Small Nonprofits program hosted by the Hendricks County Community Foundation and The Fund Raising School!

From workforce and healthcare discussions to nonprofit development and housing education, MADE continues to bring together organizations that are making a difference across Hendricks County and beyond.

A special thank you to Hendricks College Network -HCN for managing the facility and helping create a welcoming space where these important conversations and trainings can happen.

Another round of Employees from Allison Transmission Builders, Ingredion, Crown Equipment Corporation and Rolls-Royce-Indianapolis are sharpening their technical skills through Vincennes University Business & Industry Mechanical Drives training.
From v-belts to gears, this course dives deep into the fundamentals of mechanical transmission systems — with an emphasis on safety, precision, and performance. Real-world learning driving real-world results!

Recently, the partners who call MADE@Plainfield home took a break from their busy schedules to enjoy a cookout together. It was a great opportunity to connect, catch up, and celebrate the collaboration happening under one roof.
