🎶MEET OUR CONDUCTOR: OKSANA RODAK
Oksana believes that ordinary children can achieve extraordinary levels of musicianship when they are given high expectations, excellent instruction, encouragement, and the opportunity to find their authentic voice.
As an internationally experienced conductor and music educator, Oksana has spent her career inspiring young singers and musicians across Canada, the United States, and Europe. She is passionate about helping students grow not only as musicians, but also in confidence, self-knowledge, leadership, and a lifelong love of music.
Oksana holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music from the University of Toronto, an ARCT in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and completed advanced studies in choral conducting, piano, voice, and bandura at the National Music Academy of Ukraine.
She has served as Artistic Director of Young Naperville Singers and conductor with Anima - the Glen Ellyn Children's Chorus, and and has led ensembles in performances at Chicago’s Orchestra Hall and an American Choral Directors Association convention.
Today, Oksana is the Artistic Director of Voices in Plainfield (VIP) and the Women’s Bandura Ensemble of North America.
Come sing with us tonight—we’d love to meet your singer! 🎶
