I got almost no pictures from the team party since I was so caught up in the moment but we had a blast! Started off with some football, had a water balloon/water gun fight (next year I know to add more water, it was like throwing bricks at each other lol) then played some soccer and finished with timing our foot race speed!

Had around 25 kids show up. Thanks for the memories and see you in class tomorrow 💪🏾

An eventful Friday at the dojo! My parents came and helped clean, set up the rest of the wall mats, and we added a storage cabinet in the bathroom for extra supplies in case we run out!

We will also be putting the motion sensored paper towel dispenser to use soon.

Also just a reminder to please wear your shoes when entering the bathroom to help keep the mats clean 😁

Parents of the younger kids, please go with your children to the bathroom to help ensure it stays clean (also the sink is a little high and hard to reach for younger kids to wash their hands)

To be honest, the chores I didn't have to worry about before like cleaning windows are at times kinda annoying, but doing these tasks I'm reminded how much work it took to even have a spot to be able to do these chores at. Many nights of prayer and overcoming the behind the scenes concerns to be able to do this.

So thank you to all members who made this possible! This has been a goal of mine since I was in high school and this year we finally did it. Our own spot! The best is yet to come.
