YOUTH PARTICIPATORY ACTION RESEARCH (YPAR)
An invitation to attend a webinar where students from PAAAS and PHS will present the findings of their investigation into social topics they care about and that impact them directly. This is about students exploring their role as citizens and participants in their community.

The Plainfield Public School District invites you to its first ever Youth in Participatory Action Research event.

Three teams of students from Plainfield High School and PAAAS will present the results of their research on topics such as Covid-19 restrictions and mental health, drug and alcohol abuse, the overuse of social media amongst teens, and sexual harassment.

YPAR is an exciting process of discovery for students who choose a topic that directly impacts them, dive deep into the root cause of the social problem, and then engage officials and stakeholders to improve a policy.

INVESTIGACIÓN DE ACCIÓN PARTICIPATIVA PARA JÓVENES
Esta es una invitación para asistir a la conferencia webinar donde los estudiantes de PAAAS y PHS presentaran los resultados de su investigación sore temas sociales que les interesan.

El Distrito de Escuelas Públicas de Plainfield lo invita a su primer evento de Investigación de Acción Participativa Juvenil.

Tres equipos de estudiantes de Plainfield High School y PAAAS presentarán los resultados de su investigación sobre temas como las restricciones de Covid-19 y la salud mental, el abuso de dr**as y alcohol, el uso excesivo de las redes sociales entre los adolescentes y el acoso sexual.

YPAR es un importante proceso de investigación para los estudiantes que eligen un tema que los impacta directamente, profundizan en la causa raíz del problema social y luego involucran a los funcionarios y las partes interesadas para mejorar una política.

We have extended the deadline for the Gateway Scholarship Application. Please share the attached application with your 2021 graduating class.
Qualifications: Graduating Union County High School seniors in NJ, entering an accredited trade or technical school, pursuing a certificate or degree in a wide range of programs. A list of examples is attached.
