🎉🏆 WE DID IT!! 🏆🎉

Wow!! Talk about Tiger Pride! 💙🐯

Thanks to the incredible support of our River View families, friends, neighbors, alumni, and community, we came out on top!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who voted, shared our posts, and encouraged others to join in. Your support made all the difference, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

We can’t wait to see the finished product and share it with all of you! Thank you for proving once again that there’s nothing stronger than Tiger Pride! 💙🐯

🏆 PLAINFIELD… WE HAVE A CHAMPION! 🏆

What started as a little idea for some friendly, end-of-summer school spirit turned into something I NEVER could have anticipated.

I genuinely thought maybe we’d get 100-ish comments, have a little fun and crown a winner.

You all had other plans. 😂

We started with 18 Plainfield elementary schools.
Then 11.
Then 6.
Then 3.

There were thousands of comments, votes, shares and tags. Parents rallied neighbors. PTOs and PTAs got involved. Alumni showed up. Grandparents were recruited. And over and over again, I watched families proudly show up for the schools they love.

After one final Sunday Showdown and a careful review of the ballots to remove duplicate submissions...

🏆 YOUR 2026 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SHOWDOWN CHAMPION IS...

🐯 RIVER VIEW ELEMENTARY! 🐯

Our official Final Round results:
🥇 RIVER VIEW - 1,052 votes
🥈 WESMERE - 794 votes
🥉 RIDGE - 591 votes

Congratulations, River View Tigers!

River View will receive up to $500 in complimentary custom graphic design services from CraftnDraft. I'll be reaching out to Principal Gregoire and would love to connect with River View's PTO leadership as well so we can decide together how that design time can best serve and celebrate their school.

And, of course, I'll share what we create when it's finished!

But before we officially close the book on this absolutely BONKERS week... I really want to say THANK YOU.

🏆 THIS IS IT, PLAINFIELD — THE FINAL 3 SHOWDOWN! 🏆

We started with 18 elementary schools.
Then 11. Then 6.

And after nearly 3,900 valid votes in yesterday’s round alone, we officially have our FINAL THREE!

Congratulations to:

🐺 WESMERE WOLVES

And when I tell you yesterday came down to the wire...

Wesmere and River View finished just FOUR votes apart.
FOUR. 🤯

At one of our evening updates, Ridge was sitting in 1st place and by midnight, the order had shifted again.

That’s how much every vote, every share and every person you rallied mattered.

A HUGE thank you also goes to Walker’s Grove, Meadow View and Crystal Lawns. You showed up BIG, and making it from 18 schools all the way to the Top 6 was no small feat. The amount of school spirit from ALL of these communities has been incredible. 🙌

But today... EVERYONE STARTS BACK AT ZERO.

Yesterday's votes got these three schools here, but not one of those votes carries over.

We started with 18 elementary schools, more than 1,000 Facebook comments sent us scrambling to create an official ballot 😂, and Round 2 brought in nearly 3,000 valid votes.

The school spirit throughout this whole thing has been absolutely INCREDIBLE.

Parents. Teachers. Staff. Grandparents. Alumni. PTOs/PTAs. Neighbors. Friends. You have shared, tagged, texted, rallied and shown UP for your schools.

And now...18 → 11 → SIX SCHOOLS REMAIN.

Congratulations to our TOP 6, listed alphabetically because EVERYONE STARTS BACK AT ZERO:

And Meadow View deserves a special mention after making one of the biggest moves of the round, rallying from the bottom of our earlier standings all the way to a third-place Round 2 finish. 🙌 326 Votes!

To Eagle Pointe, Lincoln, Charles Reed, Liberty and Central: THANK YOU. Your families showed up in a BIG way, and I hope you had as much fun rallying your communities as I've had watching it happen.
