A little more designing last night, but I fell asleep early. Not much to show today. It will be a travel weekend. I'm hoping to have this main project ready before I go, but it will take a lot of work to get it there. I may grab one of the secret projects to take along...

Here are a few of the trees outside of my office the other day. I'm hoping up where I'm going this weekend, there will be plenty of beautiful trees!

More designing fun here on this WIP Wednesday. What are you working on. Still can't show what I'm working on yet. Hopefully, I will have this project submitted for review by the weekend.

In a way, my WIP Wednesday picks this week or from Niles, Michigan. There will be a Niles themed Cross stitch coming up sometime later. Let's see what you're working on though now.

Hello! Not going to be much to show you visually all week. Your couple more pictures from Starved Rock State Park over the weekend. This week will be all designing and then I have to get this to the client for approval.

It was a good weekend, but not as productive as I needed it to be. I didn't realize that my first deadline for a project that I'm working on is Friday. Yesterday was a wonderful day in Michigan. If I had known how things were going to go, I probably would've stayed home and worked. I'm a little behind the eight ball this week as I am back to work at a normal job. Thank goodness there will be baseball all week long. I have the project that needs to be done Friday with me. I'll just work on it when I can.

I told you we would have progress soon! 😊 Let me know what you think of Mater. I have not been happy with the shading so I freestyled a little. I made the back wheel a little bigger. I also made him brown on that side instead of gray.

Not sure what we're doing today. We were going out but it is cloudy. I'm discussing different options with my wife and we'll see what we do. We were able to kayak yesterday. I have more designing and more research to do, but that'll be ever present.

Yesterday, my wife and I took a day trip to the Indianapolis Zoo. It was just the 2 of us, but I could certainly sense my parents' presence. Dad was a train person. We could hear the very active trains all day long. The dolphins were Mom's favorite part of the zoo. Even though we never came down here, I could sense her there.

While she's no longer here, Mom's vision for Colored Pencil Designs becomes more and more of a reality. She would be proud that we are still working on her vision and that it is about to finally become realized. There's still a lot of work to do to bring her vision to reality but I have a good team helping me get through this project. Lots more will have to be done behind the curtain. You'll start to see some stitching soon. Stay tuned...

It's WIP Wednesday. Since I don't have anything to share, I'm hoping somebody else does. Let's see what you're working on whether it's cross stitch related or not.

I took a lot of cool pictures yesterday. I think I am ready to represent my subject well. With the hours I tried to keep yesterday, I didn't stay up late last night. Today is another travel day. I have another small project with me today. I might just share some of these pictures for fun later.

More pictures from Indianapolis tomorrow. More behind the scenes and stuff to do today and tomorrow. I'm ready to start working on the Cars announcement, but I need to print it out. If I have a chance tomorrow, I will probably stitch on Minnie Mouse and get her finished.

Hello! On the road this morning. Just stopped at the Welcome center on the way into Michigan. I don't have anything I can show you from yesterday. I took the picture of the lighthouse as you come into Michigan. Have a great day. I'm going in search of another cup of coffee!

Hello! It was a good day yesterday. The back of Mader is ready for another attempt at shading. I also got the letters going for the Cars project. I got the start of one of the secret projects shaded. Today, I will change projects and get the birth announcement ready for stitching. I also need to research the place I’m taking pictures tomorrow. It will be a full day there. Minnie may be going. That project has a couple things left to work on before it’s finished. Hopefully, I have a lot of progress to show you soon. There will be a lot of things that I have to do behind the scenes that I won’t be able to show. You’ll see that coming up soon though.
