To my very cherished artists and their families,
Over the past few months, I have been in turmoil needing to make a very difficult decision. It is with an extremely heavy heart that I have come to the realization that my health and family need my attention at this time. With that, I have decided to close Art Cube Studios. As I’m sure you are well aware- my students, my art and Art Cube has always been my deepest passion so this new found awareness comes to me with tremendous sadness, but also with a positive outlook since I am moving in a direction towards health and well-being and hope that you all will understand.
In the nine years Art Cube has existed, I have seen little ones giggle through their processes and smile with pride over their artistic accomplishments. I have witnessed incredible growth not only artistically, but personally as well in our middle school and high school students. These young ladies and gentlemen have overcome so many obstacles and it warms my heart to have been such a touching part of their lives. I have been filled with joy to have shared my expertise with high school students in so many different media and subjects: portfolio building, how to sell, how to price work, how to enter contests, where to start with art, and so much more… their interest sparked mine and they have been as inspiring to me as I hope I have been to them. Our adult students, some who have said they didn’t have a creative bone in their bodies, have developed the most beautiful artworks I have seen and continue to surprise me with each piece. Our annual student shows have always brought intense happiness to my soul as each of my little and big artists glowed with pride and success with their artwork displayed, viewed and even sometimes sold.
The rewards I have felt will always remain unparalleled, as my students will ALWAYS stay with me in my heart and memories- forever.
It’s not just my students whom I will miss though… without Art Cube’s INCREDIBLY talented and dedicated staff, the studio would not have gained its popular, impressive reputation it did without them. Over the years, we have seen many teachers with such a wide variety of talents and I am more than grateful for each and every one of them and what they brought to the studio and our students. I truly feel so blessed to have been a part of this artistic family, as I’m sure you feel the same way. I encourage all of you to reach out to your favorite instructors, leave your contact information and keep in touch if you so choose. The studio will be breaking down the month of September and we will be vacated by the end of that month. Please feel free to leave a letter and your information if you wish. Our address is at the bottom of this letter. If you miss the deadline, I will be checking emails for a while afterwards and will be able to forward your information to current instructors. We will be holding a sale of products in September, please keep an eye on our page and website for the date (currently not determined yet).
