✨ Abracadabra! First grade is off to a magical start! 🪄

Mrs. Wentz’s class whipped up some special magic bracelets today to test out a little first-day fortune-telling:

“Magic bracelet oh so white, I wish this wish with all my might! If another color does appear, I’m sure to have a great school year!”

These students were so excited to see those beads work their magic under the sun! ☀️ Color changes all around means one thing: it’s officially going to be an unforgettable year for these Little Panthers. 🐾💙🖤

Day one is in the books, and the Panther spirit is already thriving! 🐾💙

Our 6th graders hit the ground running with an epic classroom scavenger hunt (swipe to see if you can spot who caught the silly bug 🤪📸).

The real magic happened at dismissal—our amazing 6th grade Bus Buddies stepped up to guide our newest Little Panthers to their buses. Watching our oldest students lead with kindness makes us so proud to be Plain City Panthers!

🐾 BACK TO SCHOOL, PANTHERS! 🐾

The wait is officially over! We are so excited to welcome our Kindergarten through 6th-grade Panthers back to Plain City Elementary on Monday, August 24th! 🎉✨

Get ready for a school year filled with new friendships, exciting learning adventures, and plenty of Panther Pride! Let’s make 2026–2027 our best year yet in blue, black, and white! 💙🖤🤍

What a turn-out! 🐾 Big smiles were seen as our Panther family came together for Back to School Night!

Plain City Elementary is all about community, and we loved getting to mingle with our amazing parents and students. From meeting teachers and signing up for clubs to snapping photos at the photo booth, the energy in the halls was unmatched. Everyone is officially ready for day one!

Our Panthers are already spreading their wings! 🦋🎨

We loved seeing so many families at Back to School Night, especially those who stopped by to visit Mrs. Hibbert in the art room! It was wonderful to watch our students and parents teaming up to create beautiful, colorful butterflies together to kick off the new year. We are so excited for all the creativity, imagination, and masterpieces this school year will bring.

Starting October 1st (Christmas Concert) and January 28th (Disney Spring Show)

🚨 GREAT NEWS, PANTHER FAM! 🐾 Asphalt is down, lines are going on, and the road to Plain City Elementary is OFFICIALLY opening back up!

Huge shoutout to our awesome construction crew for working hard to get everything wrapped up just in time. Here’s the latest scoop:

🛠️ Paving Complete: Finishing touches are happening today!
🚙 Road Access: The road from 2600 North will be open starting tomorrow (Tuesday) for our teachers and staff!
🎨 Striping & Crossings: Final paint for crosswalks and safety signage goes down Wednesday.

That means we are 100% GOOD TO GO for the first day of school next week! 🎉 We can’t wait to fill these halls with our favorite White, Blue, and Black and see all of our amazing Panthers—from Preschool to 6th grade! 💙🖤🤍
